Circle M Truck Repair Is Rooted In Dairy Farming, Logistics, & Hard Work

And who better to tell this story than the owner himself, Chris Machado? Here’s what he has to say about his family history: 

'My great grandparents immigrated from Portugal to California, where my grandfather was a lead herdsman who came to California and got a job milking cows on a dairy farm.

It was on this farm that my grandfather met my grandmother, who brought breakfast and lunch to the employees there. Grandpa became a lead herdsman on a dairy farm and eventually became a vested partner of Knudson Milk by deferring a portion of his paycheck to a co-op of dairies that is still around today. However, in 1987, Knudson Milk had to sell off some of its dairies, including the one where my dad and grandparents had worked. Despite this setback, our family persevered and started a commodity brokerage called Triple M company, which later evolved into Circle M Hay Company and is still buying and selling hay to this day.'

Circle M Truck Repair Was Created To Rid Pain Points From Truck, and Fleet Management

'In 2012, after working with my dad for five years buying and selling hay, we had a vision to create a true fleet management company. I launched Circle M Truck Repair on March 8th of that year, using my dad's complaints about the mundane and tedious processes involved in fleet management as the foundation for my business.

I used my passion for solving problems and optimizing systems to build a business that helps other businesses stay profitable and keep their fleets running smoothly. My focus on maintaining and optimizing fleets has led to happy employees and drivers, which in turn leads to a safer and more efficient trucking industry overall.'
